Adult Group Event Wheel or Handbuilding

The perfect event for team building or just a fun night out! Choose between one of our two types of events: *Wheel* Using the potter's wheel, participants will be guided by one of our experienced instructors to work towards the goal of creating a wheel thrown bowl. Wheel events are all about the experience of working on the wheel and embracing the process! *Handbuilding* In this event, participants will learn and explore handbuilding techniques to create their own mug! Handbuilding events focus in on form, construction, and creativity. Our experienced instructors will provide guidance and encourage participant to choose between different styles, templates, and decorations to make the piece unique to them. Due to equipment and facility limitations, adult group events are limited to a maximum of 7 participants for wheel and 14 for handbuilding. Please note the event fee of $455 covers up to 7 students for all events. There are additional fees of $28/student if more than 7 attend the handbuilding event. --- All pieces will need to be fired twice and glazed before they can be brought home. This process will take approximately 3 weeks. Once all of the pieces are ready for pickup, the event organizer will be contacted by email with pickup instructions. All pieces are to be picked up by the organizer and it is their responsibility to distribute the finished pieces to each participant. Event bookings are a total of 2 hours in length. All participants are asked to arrive no more than 5 minutes before the booking time and are expected to leave promptly at the end of the booking time. If departure from our space is delayed, an additional penalty fee of $50.00 per 15 mins will be added to the remaining balance of the booking. An invoice of the remaining balance will be sent to the event organizer via email on the Tuesday following the event, with a link to pay through our website.
