In this week?s workshop, students will explore their creativity through a handbuilt dish on which they will apply the sgraffito technique. The students will be provided with a number of options to create the main form of their dishes, and they will then apply coloured slips to their projects and carve out their decorations using an assortment of sgraffito tools as demonstrated by the instructor. All pieces will be clear glazed to highlight this fun decorative technique.Price includes 2.5 hours of instruction, all materials, tools, and the glazing and firing by our technicians. Projects will be ready for pick up in approximately 3 weeks (participants will be notified via email).
